Meet Elle Strauss, Shopbop’s fashion director. Her edgy-but-feminine style bubbles over into everything she touches—her wardrobe and home being two prime examples. It all started (as it often does for us fashion-loving folk) with a beloved Barbie collection and a girlhood dream to be immersed in beautiful things. While becoming a mom to her own little girl has certainly changed some aspects of her life, Elle’s passion for impeccable style seems only to have intensified as she’s expanded her family. Take a peek into her color-filled, fancy-free and fashion-forward home below.

Tell us a bit about yourself and your role as fashion director for Shopbop. How did you get to where you are today?
I’m originally from England but have lived in New York City for eight and a half years. I began my career at various fashion publications in London and New York—most recently as senior fashion editor at Lucky magazine—before joining Shopbop. As Shopbop’s fashion director, I have my hand in everything from the styling and visual direction of the front page to the overall buy, ensuring it captures an editorial point of view and the current trends.
