The Best Natural Deodorants

Deodorant natural tips
Many of us have a favorite drugstore deodorant or antiperspirant that we’ve probably been using since we were teens. (Deodorants differ from antiperspirants: Antiperspirants inhibit regular sweat production, whereas deodorants block unpleasant odors but allow our sweat glands to function normally.) Nearly all drugstore options are effective, but they also often contain harmful chemicals. Even if you’re not quite ready to make the switch to completely natural deodorants, try your best to avoid underarm products that contain aluminum, triclosan, propylene glycol, parabens and phthalates.

Below, we’ve rounded up the most effective natural deodorants (including some of the newest on the market) that will keep you smelling wonderful all day long. (Hint: Paste formulas tend to work best because their thicker texture stands up to odors produced on even your longest and most active days!)

  • It is really very good that now deodorants are available in natural flavors, now people can easily carry them and feel pretty comfortable, because artificial deodorants are sometimes allergic to some people. I would love to have on with lavendor flavor.
