So far we’ve shown you our “Elodie” rug (which we designed for Lulu & Georgia) styled in a nursery, a dining room and our founder Taylor’s living room. Today we’re peeking inside our editorial director Caitlin’s family room, where the rug’s pink, green and blue shades bring a sophisticated neutral aesthetic to life. Below, Caitlin shares her thought process behind the rug‘s placement and talks about all of the furniture and accessories this piece inspired!

“We recently got a new sectional sofa—our first grown-up one!—from Apt2b. We were loving its neutral upholstery, but our family room was in dire need of some color. The “Elodie” rug brought in a beautiful range of soft (yet vibrant) hues; they complement the space perfectly.”

“I based the design for the rest of the room around the rug’s lovely color palette, so everything else is pretty neutral. I layered in some texture with throw pillows and our ottoman, but the rug is definitely the room’s statement piece.”
