I scream, you scream, we all scream for silver sparkles, disco balls and ice cream! Before we officially bid adieu to summer, we’re thrilled to welcome Bicyclette blogger and stylist Paige Boersma, and Alyssa Garrison of Random Acts of Pastel, back to Glitter Guide to share a brand new party filled to the brim with glittery inspiration. Read on for the details behind their disco ice cream social, plus get tips for throwing your own sparkle-filled event.
Paige and I love throwing fun styled summer parties, and this year’s concept was derived from a love of old-fashioned ice cream parlors, milky pastels and triple-scoop cones loaded with sprinkles. Of course, it wouldn’t be a party without a little bit of glitter, so we gave our theme a disco twist!
Pretty sweets, a swoon-worthy ice cream cake from our favorite local bakery, Bake Shoppe, and custom party supplies by Lampshade Bash made this a perfect party, while tiny disco balls and succulent favors were the cherry on top.
Whether you’re celebrating a birthday or a bachelorette, we highly recommend that you break out your favorite silver dancing shoes and throw a disco ice cream social of your own.
