The Best Beauty Products Worth The Splurge In 2015

A Day In The Life With NewBeauty Digital Managing Editor Carolyn Hsu

While we love our drugstore beauty buys, sometimes we can’t help but absolutely fall in love with products that might be a bigger tug on our purse strings. Today, we’re rounding up our favorite splurge-worthy products that we tried in 2015. Let us know what higher-end products you loved this year in the comments below!

Charlotte Tilbury Charlotte’s Magic Cream Treat & Transform Moisturizer ($100)

We love this ultra-hydrating moisturizer and saw an improvement in our dry skin within weeks. It’s great under makeup because it really plumps up the skin and keeps it soft all day (without being greasy or oily!). It also calms red, irritated skin.

Eve Lom Cleanser ($80)

This luxurious balm cleanser contains a to-die-for blend of oils to purify, soothe and hydrate the complexion. Skin is left feeling baby bum-soft.

SK-II Pitera Mid-Day Essence ($80)

It’s the easiest way to give skin an instant boost of moisture during the day.

Kate Somerville Mega-C Dual Radiance Serum ($90)

With vitamin C and youth-enhancing bio-active omegas, this serum improved our complexion in a matter of weeks!

Aesop Parsley Seed Cleansing Masque ($39)

We haven’t tried a face mask that we’ve enjoyed as much as this one. It’s gentle, but very effective and leaves our skin feeling super clean and hydrated.

Tata Harper Boosted Contouring Serum ($185)

Taylor uses this super-hydrating serum to keep her skin looking clear and smooth.

Bluemercury M-61 Vitablast A & C Eye Cream ($78)

Packed with vitamins and a slew of other natural ingredients, this easy-to-apply eye cream is lightweight and effectively moisturizes the delicate skin under the eyes.

Rodin Luxury Body Oil ($130)
This is quite the splurge, but it’s worth it. This super-hydrating, long-lasting oil smells amazing. Plus, it looks great in the bathroom.

Tata Harper Beautifying Face Oil ($48)
This facial oil works wonders on tired skin and can be used as a makeup primer (ELLE voted it as an essential beauty product!).

Dermalogica Ultracalming Mist ($35)

This mist instantly relieves irritated skin. Spray a few pumps on the skin each morning and night before applying moisturizer, and enjoy all the hydrating goodness!

Kate Somerville Nourish HydraGel Mask ($70)

When we need some serious hydration, this mask is one of our go-to products.

St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse ($32)

After reading endless positive reviews for this self-tanner, we knew we had to give it a try. Unlike most tanning sprays, this one doesn’t have a funky smell. It also dries quickly and leaves skin with a long-lasting, natural-looking tan.

Laura Mercier Foundation Primer – Radiance ($34)

This primer gives skin an extra dose of radiance and helps makeup look flawless! To use, apply it to skin about five minutes before foundation.

Charlotte Tilbury “Light Wonder” Youth-Boosting Perfect Skin Foundation ($45)

We love this foundation when we want a lighter finish, but still want to cover pesky imperfections.

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer ($29)

We haven’t found a concealer that rivals the all-day, smudge-proof coverage offered by this tube of NARS concealer.

BareMinerals Perfecting Veil ($25)

We use this powder to combat shiny skin and set makeup—and the ‘light-reflecting optics’ add a very subtle glow to the skin.

Stila’s Convertible Color ($25)

This beautiful cream blush blends into the skin flawlessly and has serious staying power. We love that it doubles as a lip color, as well.

Charlotte Tilbury ‘Filmstar Bronze & Glow’ Face Sculpt & Highlight ($68)

We’re especially impressed with this duo because it gives even the fairest complexions a sun-kissed glow. Create all-over warmth or a strong contour with the bronzer, and use the golden highlighter to add a stunning luminosity!

Dior Diorshow Mascara ($27.50)

This mascara thickens, strengthens and extends lashes. Bonus: It recently got an upgrade, so the formula is even better than ever!

Tom Ford Lip Color in Cherry Lush ($52)

Spending more than $50 on one lipstick is definitely a splurge, but there really isn’t any lipsticks that compare to the Tom Ford lipsticks. His packaging is divine and the color formulas are rich and gorgeous. We especially love this pink-red hue.

Bobbi Brown High Shimmer Lip Gloss in ‘Hot’ ($26)

We love this pink gloss to add a pretty pop of color and to help us look more awake on tired days.

RMS Beauty Eye Polish in ‘Solar’ ($28)

We love this eye shadow’s smooth texture and natural formula. Plus, once it sets, it stays put.

NARS Pro Palette

This customizable palette is NARS’s way of addressing the need for a do-it-all beauty product. We also love that if you don’t want to choose your own shades, you can shop one of these curated palettes.

Wander Beauty

Travel-inspired with cruelty-free formulas, this new line from Lindsay Ellingson is one to get familiar with ASAP.

Living Proof

We officially became obsessed with this haircare line this year. From the shampoos to hair masks and leave-in treatments, there is something for every type of hair. What’s best of all, our hair has never felt so soft and healthy!
