5 Things We Loved This Week

Today, we’re sharing what our editors were loving this week and what we’re looking forward to this weekend, in hopes that it will inspire you! As always, we love to see our readers participate, so don’t forget to share your favorite things from this past week with the hashtag #GG5things and by tagging @glitterguide on Twitter and Instagram.

  1. We all knew those Tony wins would happen for Broadway’s “Hamilton,” but we weren’t expecting composer, writer and star Lin-Manuel Miranda’s beautiful acceptance speech, which reminded us all that, “Love is love is love is love is love is love is love is love cannot be killed or swept aside.”
  2. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen celebrated their 30th birthdays this week, and we couldn’t help ourselves in looking back on some of their scene-stealing style from W Magazine.5 Things We Loved This Week
  3. A favorite summer activity of ours is making (and, of course, eating) s’mores around the fire, and we love this Festive Fire Pit Party our editor, Carrie, shared on Dream Green DIY!
  4. Father’s Day is Sunday, so make sure you treat dad with a relaxing day—and a great cocktail like this Dadmosa.
  5. Tomorrow is #NationalBrunchDay, so we’re looking forward to splurging and enjoying our favorites. We love these adorable plates from Draper James. One item we’re anxious to make? These Injectable Donuts by Sugar & Cloth for an extra-sweet brunch treat!
