Cue the compliments! Contributor Anjuli Nanda breaks down her favorite go-to ‘Tatcha Trifecta’—a skincare trio that’s sure to make your face glow this season.
Meet Tatcha: The ‘Cadillac’ of skincare that’s currently taking the market by storm—and for good reason, too! Tatcha is the first skincare line I’ve come to find irresistible across the board, as the products produce results faster than any other brand I’ve tried. As a Japanese skincare brand, it tries to emulate original Geisha skincare methods, documented in a 200-year-old manuscript passed down through generations. Because Geishas are iconic for their perfect-looking porcelain skin, I knew I better listen up. The One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil, the Classic Rice Enzyme Powder and the Dewy Skin Mist are my favorites within the line, yielding what I like to call the “Tatcha Trifecta.”
One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil
I use the One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil every morning immediately after I wake up. Its charming floral scent combined with the oil’s thick texture creates a perfect combination. I gently massage it all over my face and then leave it on while I brush my teeth before rinsing off. That way, I feel it sinks that much deeper into my skin, as if I’m applying a mini-face mask every morning. Within one week of using this product, I was asked twice how I achieve such bright-looking skin. And I immediately knew the answer.
Classic Rice Enzyme Powder
I use the Classic Rice Enzyme Powder every evening, both as a face wash and makeup remover. Wet your face with water, then apply a nickel-sized amount of the powder into your palm. Massage into your skin and feel it get softer as you continue to exfoliate. I couldn’t stop touching my skin after first using it—like, we’re talking baby soft. My mom calls it the “crème de la crème of exfoliators,” and I couldn’t agree more.
Dewy Skin Mist
Finally, the Dewy Skin Mist was the answer to my, “but really, how do people make this dewy look happen?” quandary. After trying various methods in the hopes of achieving that “dewy” look, it remained an enigma to me. Do I just follow my same makeup routine and pat on some water, or what? The Dewy Skin Mist actually does what it says, solving the giant mystery. I spray it two-to-three times all over my face after I put on my makeup, to achieve that perfectly radiant look. Within seconds, my skin looks fresh, moist and—you guessed it—effortlessly dewy.
