There’s no denying we love a good GNI (girls’ night in). As soon as the leaves start changing and the temperatures begin to drop, we get out our cozy sweaters and make plans to hang out with friends at home. While you can’t really go wrong with sweet treats and drinks, this fall, why not put a little more thought into your girls’ night and have a pie-tasting party?
Really, it couldn’t be easier. Just ask your girls to each bring a different kind of pie. It’s most fun when everyone takes a stab at baking their own and can bring the recipe to share. Have freshly whipped cream and cinnamon on hand to use as toppings and a few different wines for pairing (think: a Riesling and a Cabernet). Adorable plates (these are from Anthropologie) and fresh flowers certainly set the mood, but aren’t completely necessary!
