Below, Lesley from Blare June shares a collection of suede pieces that will have us looking chic and feeling cozy this cool-weather season!

We are now officially in the throws of fall, so it’s time to pull your cozy knits out of storage and indulge in all the luxe fabrics this season has to offer. Although velvet seems to be having a moment this autumn, it is not the only fabric that I’ve spotted on and off the runway. Suede is the perfect fabric to wear as we transition into the cooler days.

This unique version of leather is known to be soft and thin in comparison to other fall-time fabrics. Therefore, it’s the perfect option for these early days when temperatures can vary from mild to cool. Although you can incorporate suede easily due to the rise of the choker, there are other great (and affordable) options to be on trend! Below are five ways to integrate suede into your fall wardrobe without breaking the bank. How? None of the pieces cost more than $100! What’s not to love?

Moto Jackets

The moto jacket is the epitome of cool year-round. Although a leather option tends to be the classic take on this style, suede options often debut in the fall. This year is no different. You can feminize this style by wearing it over a floral dress, toughen it up with ripped jeans and a tee or layer over a cozy knit for the cooler evenings.

Runners

I am pretty sure I am not the only one that is incredibly thankful runners are on trend right now. This fall, why not opt out of your classic gym runners as you go about town and instead wear a pair in a luxe fabric? Wearing suede runners is the perfect way to incorporate this trend into your everyday look. What is better than a trend that is comfortable? I can’t think of anything.

Mini Skirts

When I think of suede, a mini skirt often comes to my mind. This season is no different. Suede mini skirts continue to make their way into every on-trend boutique season after season. A suede skirt is another way to stay on trend and is versatile from day to night.

Baseball Caps

Another incredibly easy way to tick off two trends at once is wearing a suede baseball cap. Like the runners trend, baseball caps have been spotted on every social media starlet and young celebrity lately. Instead of wearing the typical fabric option, switch things up by wearing a plush option like suede.

Backpacks

With the summer over and school officially back in high gear, it is the perfect excuse to add one more item to your back-to-school shopping list. It’s not too late, right? Not only will you be on trend as you walk around campus, but you can also wear your backpack while out for coffee on the weekends or on overnight trips with your friends. It’s versatile…enough said!
