A Peek Inside The Limited-Edition Vogue Birchbox

If you’ve ever wanted to try Birchbox, now’s the time because Vogue magazine helped create a limited-edition box featuring rose-inspired products. Glitter Guide contributor, Caylee Ashwell, talks about all the products below.

It’s true. Roses are always in vogue. As a celebration of the magazine’s 125th anniversary, Vogue and Birchbox created a limited-edition box abloom with the best of today’s beauty. The capsule was expertly picked by Vogue beauty director, Celia Ellenberg, and features eight rose-themed products, three of which were specially crafted for the occasion. Each product was inspired by the actual Vogue rose, which is a one-of-a-kind peach-colored, highly fragrant flower created by horticulturalists with the aura of the magazine in mind. Alas, here’s the bouquet of beauty products that you’ll find in this special box:

Ouai Rose Hair & Body Oil: Whether it’s run through your hair or over the top of your skin, this multi-tasking product smooths and hydrates like no other. The lightweight oil was created by celebrity hairstylist, Jen Atkin, and the color matches her favorite shade of rosé wine. Keep it in your purse and find a multitude of ways to use it this summer.

RMS Beauty Lip2Cheek in Vogue Rose: An exclusive light coral-colored cream that adds the perfect flush to both lips and cheeks. Made with natural ingredients like coconut and jojoba oils, the tint conditions while coloring.

NARS Soft Touch Shadow Pencil in Vogue Rose: This subtle, but sparkly Champagne shade acts as the perfect highlighter. Sweep it across your eyelids, in the corners of your eyes or atop your cheekbones for a touch of elegant shimmer.

JINsoon Nail Lacquer: This is the perfect peach polish created by renowned nail artist, Jin Soon Choi. Its color is buildable, but two coats yield a light and glossy finish. It’s the ultimate summertime shade.

Earth Tu Face Face Balm: Wow, what a gorgeous blend of ingredients! This rich face salve is made with immortelle flowers, rose petals and Australian sandalwood that work together to deliver an intense and restorative hydration. Pro tip: Apply a small amount to damp skin as to not use too much and evenly distribute the goodness!

Herbivore Botanicals Rose Hibiscus Face Mist: Indie beauty brand on the rise, Herbivore Botanicals is becoming popular among green beauty aficionados for both its use of natural ingredients and minimalistic, pretty branding. This facial spray is a prime example of just that. Use it as a midday refresher or a toner before moisturizing. It smells divine.

Charlotte Tilbury Instant Magic Facial Dry Sheet Mask: This mask solves all the problems found with typical sheet masks. The dry formula means no drip or excess wetness. It’s equipped with hooks for your ears so it doesn’t fall out of place and it can be reused up to three times. Logistics aside, it also works exactly as it’s advertised—like a magic facial. Once you peel it off, your skin is dewy, tighter and supremely hydrated.

AERIN Rose Lip Conditioner: My favorite product of the pack, this lip conditioner is like a pillow of rose petals that sits lightly on top of your lips. Though it adds a subtle sheen, the formula is velvety smooth, not sticky like a gloss. It also gives the illusion of a plumper pout.
