The 5 Best Face Wipes For Any Of Your Skincare Needs

Summer is synonymous with sweat, which means the face is more prone to breakouts. The best way to ensure your face stays clean and healthy all day is using facial cleaning wipes. These are great to keep in your handbag, beach bag, gym bag, pretty much anywhere! Glitter Guide contributor, Caylee Ashwell, is giving us the scoop on the best facial cleansing wipes that are sure to leave skin feeling refreshed and clean this summer and all year. Find them below!

Facial cleansing wipes are the summer’s saving grace. Whether you’re crunched for time between workouts and brunch dates, in need of a post-beach refresh, or you’re feeling lazy before bed after one too many glasses of frosé, using a cleansing cloth is the easiest way to wipe away dirt, makeup, sweat and other impurities. Here are the ones we’re loving lately.

For the gym rat: If you’re hopping from a sweat session at the gym to the beach for an afternoon swim, Sweat Cosmetics Skin-Balancing Cleansing Wipes (Sephora, $18) are the perfect cleansing wipes for you. They’re individually packaged so they won’t take up space in your gym bag and they’re mineral- and vitamin-rich, which leaves skin cool and balanced.

For the natural beauty aficionado: Wipes that are made with synthetic ingredients can be irritating and leave a stinging sensation on the skin. To avoid this, opt for a natural solution like The Honest Company’s 3-in-1 Facial Towelettes (Dermstore, $5.99). They’re rich with olive oil, aloe vera and other plant botanicals that soothe the skin while removing impurities.

For the classic solution: At one point or another, we’ve all had these Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes (Target, $12.49 for a twin pack)  in our beauty cabinets. They’re excellent at removing stubborn eye makeup (waterproof included!), they’re always in stock at your local drugstore and they’re gentle on the wallet.

For the luxurious splurge: If you’re looking to really treat yourself, look no further than Koh Gen Do Cleansing Spa Water Cloths (Sephora, $39). They get rave reviews on Sephora, many preaching that they’re softer, less irritating and more effective than any other wipes on the market. They also come in portable packs of three, so if you’re a beauty-on-the-plane kind of gal, add them to your carry-on.

For the breakout prone: If your skin is sensitive and prone to breakouts, treat it to something soothing like Body Shop Tea Tree Cleansing Wipes (Ulta, $14.50). Tea tree is naturally antibacterial, making it a acne-fighting powerhouse. These wipes gently cleanse, tone and treat the skin without leaving it dry or taught.
