Throughout the last few weeks, we’ve provided you with several posts that are geared toward clothing and outfits that are perfect for the holiday season, but we believe that a look is not fully complete without the perfect hairstyle! That’s why we are dedicating this post to holiday hairstyles that we hope inspire your ‘do for the season.
Bows + Buns: This season, you can’t go wrong with adding a bow to your hairstyle! We personally would go for a pretty velvet one and adorn it to a low bun or ponytail.
Velvet Hair Tie ($16.50)
Broach It: One of our favorite ways to dress up any hairstyle is to add a broach. It works with whatever hairstyle you choose and on any hair length!
Put Some Pins In It: We love the idea of dressing up our hairstyle with bobby pins. Create a half-up ‘do by securing it with bobby pins. We think metallic gold or silver would be super pretty and festive for the holidays!
Scunci Bobby Pins ($3.69)
‘Do Like Bardot: We are totally obsessed with this Brigitte Bardot-inspired half-up hairdo. It will give your face an instant facelift and make your hair look luscious and full. Feel free to add a bow or leave it as is!
A Band With Bling: If you’re going all out for the holidays, might we suggest you try a sparkly statement headband? No matter what type of hair you have or whatever length it is, it will make your hair look pretty, polished and super festive.
Pretty In Pearl: While sparkles and gems (and bows) are usually the adornment of choice when it comes to holiday hair, we’re smitten with the idea of pearls. Add some pretty pearl pins in different sizes to a half-up ‘do or a bun for a stylish and chic hairstyle. Check out how to DIY pearl bobby pins here.
Tied In A Bow: This gorgeous hairstyle takes hair bows to the next level and is way easier to do than it looks!
Keep It Classic: We often find that a simple thin black headband is the perfect finishing touch to any bun or ponytail. There is something so classic and chic about it and you can easily pick up a cheap one if you pop into any drugstore.
