We’re Ditching Lipstick For These 10 Pretty Lip Tints

If you’re like us, you’re likely tired of the bitter cold winter many of us have been experiencing this winter (except you lucky Californians), and because of the frigid temps, we’ve had to switch up our skincare routine a bit to treat our dry, winter skin. For example, we’ve ditched our heavier lipsticks in lieu of tinted balms and lip tints that not only provide a pop of color but hydrate dry and chapped lips, because nothing ruins a beauty look like flaky lipstick. Plus, we love the ease of lip tints—they are easy to swipe on the go and throw in your purse to apply throughout the day as necessary. Here are a few of our favorite lip tints and balms that we’ve relied heavily on this winter.

Tata Harper Skincare Volumizing Lip & Cheek Tint: “I love this Tata Harper Lip & Cheek Tint. It’s a super poppy pink and I can use it for my lips and my cheeks when I am in a rush!” – Taylor Sterling

Fresh Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment: There’s a reason this little tube has a cult following, it gently exfoliates your lips while hydrating and adding a hint of color.

Pixi Shea Butter Lip Balm in Sweet Peach: “I love how easily this glides on and disguises chapped lips.” – Caitlin Kruse

Lano Lips Tinted Balm: We can’t wait to try this tinted product from our favorite lip balm company.

Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Balm: This tinted balm is perfect for adding a little color while nourishing and protecting lips on the go.

NYX Butter Lip Balm: “I just discovered this last month and have been wearing it nearly every day since. It actually hydrates lips while adding just enough color.” – Caitlin Kruse
Caudalie French Kiss Tinted Lip Balm: Have really dry lips? Try this super-hydrating balm that comes in three versatile shades.
Glossier’s Generation G in Zip: “This balm-like lip stain is the right amount of color to make it seem like I was blessed with perfectly hued lips. Goes on smooth, doesn’t smudge and doesn’t cake. I’m in love!” – Chelsea Jackson
Eve Lom Kiss Mix Colour: We can’t wait to get our hands on this lip balm from the much-loved Eve Lom brand. It’s infused with shea butter and hyaluronic acid to really moisturize parched lips.
Maybelline Baby Lips Moisturizing Lip Balm: Can’t forget about a classic (that’s made a comeback)—ultra-moisturizing with a little bit of color in the best way.
