When it comes to the beach, it’s all about letting loose and having fun. We can get so busy picking out our bathing suits and accessories that we may totally forget to pack some healthy snacks alongside the various bottles of waters. Sometimes the idea of food just gets lost in the shuffle.
However, in order to save time, money or a cheat day, planning out some healthy beach snacks is important. When you’re under the sun, you have to take care of your skin, but don’t forget to take care of your tummy. Of course, you’ll want something to munch on while running around on the beach, and something nutritious and delicious is just what you need.

If you find yourself always craving something sweet while out in the sun, then fruit is a great thing to pack in your cooler. Small fruits like grapes and apples are easy to carry with you and pack. If you prefer something like watermelon, be sure to pre-cut it the night before. Dried fruit is great as well.
What better to go with your fruit bowl than a bag of your favorite nuts. Almonds are nutritious and can provide you with protein for your swim.
Think of rice cakes like bread: you can pair them with virtually anything. Smear some peanut butter over one and top it with banana. Or indulge in a little Nutella with blueberries. You can get very creative with your favorite toppings and spreads.
I’m not talking Lays here, although you may have originally used chips as your go-to snack. You want something filling but not overly salty. Go for kale chips or zucchini chips instead of potato chips.
