The Best Travel-Friendly Workout Gear

When it comes to traveling, fitness is the last thing on my mind. I’ve always been more worried about what I’m going to eat and see rather than sticking to any kind of fitness plan. In fact, I often use traveling as an excuse to give up any kind of workout routine. However, the older I get, the more I realize how physical movement is important.

I work from home, so you can only imagine how much time I spend lounging around and sitting at my desk, barely moving unless I run out of coffee. Working out isn’t about losing weight for me. It’s about being healthy and clearing my mind, and I think a lot of you can agree with this thought.

No more excuses! A recent road trip convinced me that I need to work out consistently. This is especially true when traveling for me. I get very anxious whenever I’m traveling, so putting some focus on moving my body really helps me de-stress and regroup. It’s possible to find travel-friendly workout gear no matter where you’re going. There are portable, light and durable options that won’t take up too much space, or add a ton of extra weight to your luggage.
