Easy Updates For Your Fall Work Wardrobe

As much as fall screams leggings and cozy sweaters, sometimes our work life requires a little more “professionalism.” Personally, I think leggings are super profesh (yes, profesh), but others may disagree. Make some easy updates to your fall work wardrobe this season with a few simple swaps and additions!

Bring on the matching sets

I love a good matchy-matchy combo set. Try one in warm fall tones for a professional, yet seasonal work look.

Bust out the turtleneck

A turtleneck can be so chic when paired with the right components. I just love this color palette and the dad shoes.

Mix up your textures

Sure, silk may scream summer, but when paired with an oversized sweater you get the best of both worlds—and it’s office-approved.

Just add socks

Not ready to put away your fun summer shoes yet? Add a cozy pair of socks! If you’re hesitant, try a monochromatic look so it all feels more streamlined and professional instead of, “Hey, look at me! I’m wearing socks with sandals!”

Get yo’ blazer on

Ex-boyfriend blazers are my jam this season. If you’re like me, you probably aren’t wearing a ton of plaid in warmer months, so now’s the time pull out that plaid or tweed blazer for the ultimate stylish look.

Camel sweaters, ftw

A chunky, oversized camel sweater is the perfect way to say, “I’m a professional woman, but I’m also cozy as hell.” And yes, it has to be camel.
