14 Skincare Products To Help Prep You For Winter

Winter is officially about a month away. Although some other areas might already be feeling it, we’re still soaking up fall over here. I don’t know about you, but when winter hits, my skin takes a beating. And I don’t even live anywhere that cold! But when it does eventually cool down, dry skin takes over and no one likes that. Now is a good time to stock up on winter skincare essentials, before it’s too late and you wake up with flaky skin or cracks in the corner of your mouth. THE WORST.

Read on for some of our must-have winter skincare items:

Dr. Loretta Intense Replenishing Serum

This is, without a doubt, my most cherished skincare item. It has literally saved my skin from dryness. I have a backup bottle in my medicine cabinet just in case of emergency 😂 But you don’t need much, so the bottle will last you a really long time!

Monastery Pure Facial Oil

This is a must-have, especially if you tend to be oily or breakout-prone. It’s a dry oil, so your skin just drinks it up when applied. No greasy residue and it smells amazing.

OSEA Sea Vitamin Boost

A spritz of this and your dry skin will disappear. I like to use it at night after cleansing and before applying serum.

Lapcos Milk Tone-Up Cream

This K-Beauty cream is a great product to apply underneath makeup to ensure your skin stays nice and hydrated all day long.

Intention Botanicals In Flower Botanical Facial Steam

One of my favorite self-care treats in the winter is a floral facial steam. You can buy a facial steamer for pretty cheap, but tbh I just bring a pot of water to a boil and steep my floral steam in it. Put a towel over your head and let it work its magic.

Eve Lom Muslin Cleansing Cloths

Your skin has it hard enough in the cold months, over-scrubbing with a rough towel is less than ideal. These all-natural muslin cleansing cloths are buttery soft and will exfoliate and cleanse your skin like a dream.

Among The Flowers Green Tea + Hemp Flower Cleansing Oil

This natural and organic cleansing oil is great for many reasons. The most important being: 1. It’s insanely affordable and 2. It’s packed full of organic, hydrating ingredients that not cleanse your skin, but leave it feeling so soft.

Lixirskin Universal Emulsion Cream

An emulsion cream is a winter skincare must-have. Warm up a small amount in your hand and apply to wherever you need moisture.

TONYMOLY I’m Hand Cream

These little K-beauty hand creams are great to have on hand (no pun intended) when on the go.
