What I really should have shared in these favorites is that the month of October is one of my favorites. I love the change of season that starts to (albeit it slowly) happen and the ramping up of holidays. I’m someone who’s borderline addicted to being cozy, so fall and winter are right up my street. Here are few other things I’ve been loving this month…
- JAMES STREET: This fall and winter, I want to be wearing this insanely gorgeous green. JAMES STREET does it so well. I’m down for wearing a beanie most days, too!
- Rachel Pally: I’m really enjoying wearing my friend and talented designer, Rachel Pally’s clothing. It’s incredibly comfortable and versatile. I also love supporting women who I admire!
Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black Perfume: I love a perfume that is equal parts masculine and feminine. I don’t like floral and bright perfumes. This is one I’ve probably had for five years and it still is one of my favorites for fall. It smells of sandalwood, violet and vanilla.
Bon Appétit Foodcast: If you follow our Friday Favorites newsletter, you probably know that I’m addicted to the Bon Appétit YouTube channel. I’ve now started listening to the podcast and I’m enjoying it, as well. My favorite part is when the cooks talk about their top 10 rules/items you need when cooking.
- The Brontë Sisters: I’m on a Brontë sisters kick at the moment. Their story is so interesting and it’s incredible that these three young women possessed such talent. I think it’s time to pull out Wuthering Heights again!
Jimmy Marble’s Dream Baby Dream Book: I’ve been a longtime fan of Jimmy Marble. His eye for the dreamy, pastel word that I live in is my favorite. He just launched a beautiful book that highlights his beautiful photographs and his process.
Antique Beds: I’ve become obsessed with the idea of an antique bed in my kids’ room. I think they add such drama and personality. I’m looking for one that is unique and simple at the same time.
