I think a lot of people associate the term “minimalist” with lack of color. Think houses fully decked out in various shades of beige. But really, minimalism is just about living with less. And with the concept of living with less comes freedom. Freedom from guilt, from feeling overwhelmed and freedom from comparison. When you live a minimalist lifestyle, you’re able to focus on quality over quantity, and not worry about getting caught up in the rat race. You don’t need to wear a new outfit every day. You can still live a bright, colorful life without being overwhelmed by stuff. It’s all about making conscious, quality choices that fit with you and your lifestyle.
