Confession: I don’t have a fireplace. But I would love a fireplace. They aren’t actually supremely common here in San Diego where the coldest temperatures we get are around 50 degrees on a winter night, sometimes 40 if it’s getting really crazy. But I still want one. Fireplaces have the ability to not only bring warmth to a home, but personality. Even if you have a fireplace that doesn’t function, you can still use it as a cornerstone décor space in your home. We like our fireplaces to have a bit of spunk, which ties in perfectly with this month’s theme of embracing the weird. So, read on, we promise you’ll be pinning these idyllic fireplaces ASAP.

Talk about a statement piece! We love this incredibly tiled fireplace that immediately draws your eye when you walk in the room.
The molding is exquisite, but we especially love the arch shape of the fireplace which gives it that romantic vibe.

This concrete floor-to-ceiling fireplace is epic without being overwhelming thanks to the warm wood and cozy tones of the room.
This fireplace doesn’t take up too much space, but it certainly makes a statement with the marble and gold combo.
This sweet little wood-burning fireplace has so much personality. While you don’t get the full mantle space to decorate, it stands alone with its unique molding and minimalist vibes.
This fireplace is the perfect mixture of vintage and quirky. While you might not be able to pick this one out of a catalog, you can certainly pin it to use as décor inspiration for your own vintage-inspired space.
